(Chief Risk Officer Position)
Located in Lagos Nigeria, our client has a strong and renowned background in the Real Estate & Property industry, operating in major cities of the country attracting both foreign and local clientele. Our client is currently seeking to fill the position of a Chief Risk Officer to head its Risk & Compliance Department in Nigeria.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for compliance, strategic business risk management and evaluating risk asset applications, for credit and project analysis to detect potential risks involved and give corrective actions to reduce losses.


REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must also possess the following;
• BSc/BA in Social Sciences/ Accounting/ Economics from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class honours.
• Master degree will be an advantage
• Minimum of 10-20 years hands on practical work experience in a structured Insurance and financial Institution.
• Membership of recognised risk professional associations/certification
• Strategic thinker
• Ability to use risk management software.
• Team player and ability to work in close partnership with Architects and other professional Engineers.
• Analytical, Planning and Organizational skills.
• Eye for details and accuracy, possess the ability to work quickly, under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• The ability to expertly convey Information in non-technical terms with professionalism and confidence.
• Capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
